To commemorate the 21st anniversary of the refurbishment of the Principal Theatre of Maó and the installation of the sculpture Thalia, by Matías Quetglas, the Menorcan artist is returning to the Principal to introduce his autobiographical documentary Mientras vivas, brilla (While you're alive, shine), which will have recently screened, just a few days earlier, at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, in Madrid.
Afterwards -together with the artist and the refurbishment architects-, we will enjoy a discussion in which they will share stories and non-released graphic material about the creation process and placement of the iconic statue, the figurehead of the Principal Theatre of Maó that has welcomed us at the Principal's entrance since it reopened in 2001.
